Dishnetbluebuttonremote.jpg This remote is designed to work with the model 301 and 311 receivers, but will work with virtually every model of Dish Network Receiver.

Features:

  • Four-function remote control
  • Will operate up to four devices: satellite receiver, TV, DVD, VCR, sound system, etc.
  • Emits IR (infrared / line-of-sight) signal

Use and Support

To use the remote to control a device such as the satellite receiver or a TV, you must first set up the remote to control the device, and then set the remote to the right mode for that device.First, set up the remote to control the device.

Second, use the remote control mode buttons, SAT (satellite receiver), TV, VCR (for a VCR or a DVD player), and AUX (“auxiliary,” for a cable TV box, a tuner, or an audio amplifier) to set the remote to the right mode for the device. To change the mode setting, press the button for the device that you want the remote to control. The mode button’s back light turns ON to show that the remote is set to that mode.

Control Other Devices

You may want to program your remote to control other devices such as your television or VCR.

  1. Find the brand of the device to get the program code.
  2. Press the button for the device on the remote (like the TV or VCR button at the top)
  3. Hold that button down for 3 seconds or more until all mode buttons light up
  4. Use number buttons to enter code for the device
  5. Press the # Pound button.
  6. If the pound button blinks 3 times then it took the code.

note: When programming the AUX button you must enter an additional number before entering the device code.

0 - code for a second TV
1 - code for a second VCR
2 - for additional electronic device such as Amp
