Syntrillium Cool Edit Pro 2.0 Audio Editing Software
Cool Edit Pro is a music workstation app with the capability to work with several tracks at the same time. It has support for non-destructive processing and surround sound mixing.
Syntrillium surrendered Cool Edit Pro to Adobe and later versions are problematic.
OGG Vorbis
ogg file extension for Vorbis audio files not supported in Cool Edit Pro 2.0 without the installation of an audio filter which can be obtained by going to the site:

Simply extract the file ogg.flt to the directory of Cool Edit 2.0. and restart Cool Edit Pro. Now ogg appears as an option when you attempt to open an audio file.
