The Heathkit Model GR-88 VHF FM Monitor Receiver is a compact portable that is designed to operate in the 152 to 174 MHz frequency range. This frequency range covers police, fire, private telephone, marine, weather, utilities, industrial, and similar communications services.
- Tuning Range: 152 - 174 MHz
- Antenna Input: 50 to 75 Ohms
- Sensitivity: 2.0 microvolts for 20 dB quieting
- IF Frequency: 10.7 MHz
- Power Requirements: 6 - 'C' Batteries.
The tunable Receiver can also be operated as a crystal-controlled receiver for monitoring a specific frequency within the band.
