Samsung Kies is software to install on a Windows or Macintosh computer for the purpose of connecting to Samsung Android devices such as the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0). It provides bundled software for many functions including synchronizing video, music, pictures and data. It can be used as a backup utility.

Kies is a large, bloated, and poorly written piece of software developed by computer programmers with limited knowledge and skill. The installation of Kies comes from a massive installer over 80mb in side, not including the required installation of Microsoft .Net Framework. Kies is absolutely an inefficient way to transfer data to and from your Android Device.
