Lyhme Hosting
Lyhme Hosting registered as LYHME, Inc. is a group of individuals promoting themselves as a business that hosts online video games, most notably the game Unturned. The business model is such that an individual pays to rent an online game server that can be customized to the customers preference. The monthly rent is a sliding scale depending on how much computer system resource is allocated to the virtual game server. Access to the game configuration files is limited to that of a CMS type of web interface. Modules and customization for the game is also limited by what the hosting provider staff makes available. The customer can not upload and use custom game modifications.

Note: Keep in mind that this review is largely an opinion piece, so consider the comments and statements as my opinion that is combined with my own experience and the experiences of others in our gaming community as well as other online reviews that I have read.
Lyhme Hosting: Fragile People Running a Fragile Service
LYHME, Inc. operating on the Internet as LHYMEHosting or Lhyme Hosting claims to offer game servers for Unturned for a monthly fee. You basically rent a shared environment Microsoft Windows virtual server with a limited web based front-end configuration utility for you to customize and manage your Unturned game server. The problem is, after payment and many hours of frustrating attempts to use their only partially functional system you discover that they seem to staff no knowledgeable engineers that can fix problems on their equipment or the software. They used a 3rd party content management system that they have improperly configured. The system is not even capable of doing a backup and restore of the customer's own configuration.
Seemingly staffed by a bunch of barely legal gamers, there must not be but one adult within their organization that has any real background in Information Technology, Data Center Management, or anything else related to nuts and bolts back end operation. These are most likely gamers looking for easy money to help fund their own gaming activity. Clients struggle through one problem after another while the owner continues to collect monthly server rent. The company is akin to a large city slum lord that continues to promise his tenants working plumbing while never actually delivering on the promises. It seems that no one within Lyhme Hosting has the skill nor ambition to make their service actually function correctly.
Lyhme's Philosophy, It's Your Fault, not Ours.
Upon payment the customer is presented with a very basic "vanilla" configuration. First attempts to customize the configuration already reveal a number of bugs and glitches in the software management console Lhyme is using. Customers are forced to submit trouble tickets via a 3rd party social media app and wait 24 hours for a response that is almost never helpful. Documentation is very sparse, and disorganized across a wiki and Google Docs. The documentation is poorly written and contains many errors. Most of their system tools remain completely undocumented.
Fully functional service is not delivered and the company must lack competent engineers to maintain their service. Lyhme Hosting is likely a scam more than a legitimate functional game server hosting company.
If you open too many trouble tickets the company will ban you from their service. Lyhme Hosting is only interested in customers that continue to pay and not complain that their service is not functioning correctly or that many of the promised features were never delivered. The staff tries to make it sound as though the customer is too impatient or has too great of expectations and should be denied service. These are not people from a generation of Americans that believe in an honest product for honest pay. If you want to hire slacker overly emotional kid gamers to take your money, be snarky, and then blame you when you become impatient after days of waiting for them to fix their broken system, then Lyhme is just for you. For everyone else I would advise that Lyhme Hosting seems like near enough a scam that you should avoid this company at all costs.
Lyhme Hosting, they add insult to injury!
By their own admission they operate using an outdated version of Microsoft Windows. The customer web portal is a broken installation of TCAdmin. Lyhme Hosting's Internet reputation is poor with many customers leaving negative reviews mostly containing the same complaints about the system not being very functional, having their account terminated without legitimate cause, and rude incompetent support staff. The customer base is small enough that the Lyhme staff chase them around the Internet with defensive retaliatory propaganda. Don't be surprised if you get a threatening email after leaving a negative review about Lyhme hosting on an Internet web site.
update: The more other Unturned game server rental companies I try out, from the massive ones that host a variety of games, to the smaller shops that specialize in Unturned and maybe a few others, my opinion of just how bad LyhmeHosting is has been further reinforced! I can't believe how pathetic Lyhme is compared to everything else I have sampled. Please try a few and see for yourself. Lyhme remains the absolute worst I have encountered.
update: The folks over at Lyhme have been chasing down negative reviews and requesting their removal from popular web sites that allow consumers the opportunity to share their opinion. In one case the review was suspended and considering the reputation of that particular site I think they were paid by Lyhme to hide the negative review. This sort of cat and mouse game will only hide the truth so long. There's too many upset customers to silence them all.
