Review: (Disclaimer: this review is opinion and from a legal standing you must regard it as such.) This is a very small and pretentious company that's management tries to elude to a much greater size and financial base. The receptionist identifies the company by a non-registered alias when answering the phone. Staff communicate to customers in convoluted dialog referencing internal company terminology making it difficult for the client to discern necessary information.

The company recently launched a new web site with online account management enhancements in 2011. The web site excludes customers that are not using Microsoft Internet Explorer and requires very specific browser settings which compromise desktop and network security for the client. These developers neglected to use web development standards deployed by serious financial customer accessible web interface providers. By using unnecessary proprietary browser and browser version specific coding syntax, the web site is essentially broken for the greater security minded web community.

The technology department, which seems to be comprised of a single engineer regularly requests clients allow direct access to the desktop computer to investigate web site malfunction. This policy is a violation of many company's network security policy.

  • Small Staff Base
  • Limited Financial Status
  • Poor Technology Implementation

Reviewer's Opinion: If your independent insurance agent has contracted with Premium Financing Specialists Corp., contact him or her and request you are unwilling to have your payments processed by that company. Your financial banking and/or credit card data should never be trusted to an unprofessional and technology impaired organization if you wish to reduce the risk of becoming a victim of identity theft.
