Poorly manufactured. Does the basic functions of Windows multimedia keys. The mouse control is poor. As advertised, no driver is required for the unit to function. The unit also works under Linux in the X environment.

You will be served better by spending more on a better quality product sold by reputable merchants such as Amazon.com. However, these units commonly sell for under $10.00 US and at that price it isn't really a big deal if you get a bad one. Avoid it if you need a good quality reliable unit. Try it if you are a casual hobbyist and won't lose sleep over possibly being out $10.00.

For a HTPC running MythTV and when mouse functionality is not needed, this device is an adequate extremely low cost option. With a few improvements such as a mode indicator light, and better battery life, this unit could be worth owning.
