Tools needed: 10mm and 8mm wrench. T30 Torx. Maybe also Vice Grips.* On the 86 Corvette A and B screws are Torx size T30.* On the 86 Corvette A and B screws are Torx size T30. There are 4 total, remove them all.Rather than trying to slide the panel rearward such as the illustration suggests, just pull it off and out of the way.
