== configure ==If you can get the phone configured for your local area network on the phone itself, then you do not have to use the phone to do the SIP configuration. This phone allows you to configure it using a web browser over an IP network! Take it from someone that has manually configured this phone using the dial pad on the phone itself, it is MUCH EASIER to configure it from a web browser.== troubleshooting ==You have entered a SIP account however the phone seems to not even try to connect to the SIP account. It is connected to the LAN, and accessible by IP but does not register on the remote providers SIP, nor does it appear to even try.Resolution: Even though you entered all of the correct settings for the SIP account (via web site SIP Settings) it turns out that you have to select a specific SIP account in "SIP Account Choice." The SIP Account Choice is in a rather dumb area. Here is where you find it:* Via Web Site Interface: Wireless Network Settings -> Network Profile List (choose the active profile) -> Configure -> scroll down to SIP Account Choice* Via Phone: Menu -> Profile -> Network Profile -> (select active network) -> Option -> Edit -> Account Choice
