web application can only save to user folder in windows 7
Trendnet IP Camera viewer only lets snapshots save to user folder sub folders. nowhere else on fs. cant write to c:\temp even with FULL CONTROL marked.

TRYING TO MANUALLY RUN WINDOWS UPDATE IN WINDOWS 7 AND ERROR:
Q: I ran Windows Update from the Modern UI, wasn't sure if it was downloading the patches, so clicked "Install Updates" again. Got an error indicating there was an install already in progress..... I looked all around the screen but couldn't locate any sign that updates were being downloaded or installed. Where is the progress indicator?
A: Modern UI does have a progress bar. However, updates to Windows Defender often get in the way of installing real updates since they use the same delivery pipe as Windows Update, but don't show up in Windows Update proper (so you don't see "Windows was recently updated!" popups every three hours). That is likely what happened here. When Windows is installing updates in the background due to the automatic schedule, their progress doesn't always get forwarded to the Windows Update GUI, so you go to try to install them, but they fail because they're already being installed in the background.
