Judy Nissen's Frosting Recipe
Ingredients
- 3 Cups Powdered Sugar
- 4 Tbsp Crisco Shortening
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 6 Tbsp milk
Instructions
Combine the powdered sugar, shortening, and salt in a mixing bowl. Add milk slowly and stir in. Beat with a mixer for three minutes or until smooth and soft.
Notes
You can substitute a reduced fat "soft" margarine for the shortening. However, the shortening is what makes the frosting smooth and creamy.
