- VMPRotect DRM - VMprotect is an invasive DRM (Digital Rights Management) in general that negatively impacts FPS on mid-priced computer systems. Aggressive DRM is harmful to the consumer and does not eliminate piracy nor does it eliminate cheating in games.
You should never spend money on products that use aggressive DRM systems, such as the game Assassin's Creed: Origins. This game has been tainted by aggressive DRM that has reportedly hampered performance on a number of PCs.
