If you can get the phone configured for your local area network on the phone itself, then you do not have to use the phone to do the SIP configuration.  This phone allows you to configure it using a web browser over an IP network!  Take it from someone that has manually configured this phone using the dial pad on the phone itself, it is MUCH EASIER to configure it from a web browser.

The 3108 phone's keypad has four-way cursor control to originate and receive calls, invoke features and retrieve voice messages. A 1.8" (4.57 cm) color display for menu navigation in a flip-phone design.
