This is a list of known CCTV software that runs on a standard PC, under operating systems such as Microsoft Windows or Linux. Software designed for USB web cams is NOT listed here. This list of software covers single and multiport video capture cards designed for CCTV applications.
The CCTV Computer System Research page contains information on assisting with building a system. The Pico Install Instructions 4 Port CCTV DVR Card deals with what is perhaps the least expensive / most affordable CCTV multiport video capture card available on the market.
