Free Providers
Well known free DNS hosts such as EveryDNS and EditDNS are becoming less common. Those two in particular have been purchased by DynDNS and will no longer be free. DynDNS is expensive at nearly $30/yr per domain.
- will host your domain(s) free if you allow other people to share them with you
If you want your domain(s) to be private, donation is required.
- completely free
- dnsexit.com
- pointhq.com
- sitelutions.com

Free / Pay Combination Providers
- 2 free domain records
- $12/year per domain after that
Zoneedit has recently updated their web interface. They used to be relatively inexpensive but since the upgrade the credit consumption system seems to be more aggressive, or perhaps, they now keep track better. A credit costs $1.00 and one credit is consumed each month for each domain. That comes to roughly $12/yr for a domain with only a 5% discount for 3 domains a year or 20% for 10 a year, still adding up to $96.00. Zoneedit has gotten more expensive. There is no limit to the number of records for each domain.
- 1 free domain trial
- $10/yer for 10 domains
If the pricing guide on the web site is correct, 10 domains for $10 a year is a good deal, however, the number of records for each domain is limited. It would come to about 10 records for each domain.
- dnspark.com
- 30-day free trial
- $30/yr for 10 domains or $60/yr for 25 domains
The 10 domain option may only include 1 dns server, however, it is unclear by the pricing.
- Sitelutions
Domain Registrars Offering DNS Hosting Included
- namecheap.com
