golden keys

I used 8 of my 98 golden keys, saved and quit, restore my profile from USB. , reloaded and there are the weapons.

Claptrap's Stash is not on your character save, but also is part of your profile save, along with your keys, skins, BAR.

1. Copy Borderlands 2 "Profile Data" file to USB stick (file description is visible when file is selected). To do this click triangle button and select "Copy" and select USB stick as target location.

2. Load your game and use keys. Don’t do anything else. Save and exit. Exit the game.

3. Remove "Profile Data" file from PS3 save folder.

4. Copy "Profile Data" from USB stick to PS3. This time you will not have to select destination.

After this step all keys available before making a copy of profile data will be restored. Start game and use them again if you wish. Just make sure to make a copy of "Profile Data" file right before using your keys and don't do anything except looting that golden chest. You will lose any profile-related progress, only character progress and items will be preserved.

Copy profile to usb... use keys... copy from usb...

You need to copy your Profile Data file only. Not your character save.

You put your profile data save on a USB, go use your keys, then reload your profile data from the USB back on to your PS3 and that's how you do it with a USB.
