TR-3A Black Manta, TR-3B Astra or TR-3 Astra. Relates to the Aurora Aircraft which may be the of the same lineage.
Possible generations of top secret military aircraft. Naming conventions vary depending upon source. More commonly know by
- TR-3 Astra (possibly a first generation "A" model or just another name for the TR-3B)
- TR-3B Black Manta
Confusion is speculated to be an intentional effort by the United States military to help conceal the existence of a real top secret new age stealth aircraft. Focus is currently on attempts to confirm the existence of the TR3-B Blank Manta, a member of "flying triangle" experimental aircraft.
