The following hardware represents likely "best candidates" for getting the most out of the latest OpenWRT - Kamikaze.
- 8MB or more of FLASH
- 32MB or more of RAM
- 200MHz or higher (266MHz+ preferred) Processor
- USB preferred
- Solid state wireless AP or Router / No PC boards
- Under $200
Asus WL-500g Premium v1
- Broadcom 4704 @ 266MHz
- 8MB
- 32MB
- USB: 2x v2.0
Tested and works great! Works with White Russian and Kamikaze. Unfortunately, Asus has discontinued this product. When it was available it retailed for around $80.00. Asus has a version 2 out with downgraded processor and cheaper hardware.
