This motherboard has a high failure rate due to a known defect.

According to the Hewlett Packard support forum, "The Nvidia chipset runs too hot eventually burning out." It is a manufacturing flaw. [...] "Sometimes it burns out the I/O controller. " [...] "these mother boards perform well until that chipset over heats."
