New Features on the X95 XB16

  • The new X95 now features an “M16” style Mag Release Button instead of the old SAR switch which made magazine changes unacceptably more difficult and time consuming.
  • Shooters now have the ability to change out their pistol grip according to their personal preference simply by unscrewing the screw on the bottom of the pistol grip
  • Relocation of the charging handle that is closer to the shooters center of mass
  • Lower profile bolt release and enhanced rear receiver
  • A forearm tactical rail system to accommodate accessories such as a flashlight
  • And finally, a lighter trigger system (5-6 lbs.)

colors

  1. Black (XB16) - Black
  2. FDE (XFD16) - Flat Dark Earth earth-toned color resembling the soil and sand found in the desert
  3. OD Green (XG16) - Olive Drab military color, the basic U.S. Army dark olive green.

Model Number(s) XB16, XFD16, XG16

Recommendations When Purchasing

  • make sure you get a late model with .300BLK recoil mechanism
  • 16" barrel with 30rnd mag. XB16, XFD16, XG16
  • get the 9mm and .300 Blackout Conversion Kits

Note: Although the new .300 Blackout is considered better for hunting, there is the danger of a shooter getting mixed up and chambering the cartridge in a rifle configured for 5.56 and resulting in injury. The 5.56 is better for longer range shooting but has less stopping power for medium to large game.
