A new 2.7L EcoBoost V6 is supposed to offer solid horsepower and torque for those more fuel economy minded buyers without compromising capabilities and the new 3.5L V6 will serve as the base model. Mechanics tend to complain about the problems with the EcoBoost engine and recommend the base model V6 if you want the best combination of good gas mileage and engine longevity.
