This is considered one of the dangerous African game cartridges. This type of cartridge typically has a very large caliber and excessive energy at 100 yards for North American game. This type of cartridge also has a trajectory that begins to decay significantly after 200 yards and therefore is not suitable for long distance (500+ yard) shooting.
