Media Transfer Protocol Porting Kit
MTP was first shipped as part of the Windows Media Device Manager 10 SDK.
Download the file "mtppk12.exe" from Microsoft. It was still available as of 2014 from the following link:
Install "Install MTP Porting Kit" by clicking on the file. After installation completes, reboot the PC.
