Dr. Michelle Thaller is Manager of the SIRTF Education and Public Outreach Program, NASA. She is also a research scientist at the California Institute of Technology who divides her time between astronomical research and public education. She is originally from Wisconsin and she is ... very cute for a nerd. She is married and lives in California.
Caltech astronomer Michelle Thaller has been a monthly columnist for the Christian Science Monitor and spent a lot of other time filling the public in on her science. She has been described as a girlhood Sagan fan who followed in his footsteps to both astronomy and the public lectern. She’s been getting a lot of media jobs recently and does extensive outreach for NASA’s Spitzer Space Telescope.
She was born in 1970.
She's an astrophysicist with the California Institute of Technology in Pasadena, where she works on NASA's Spitzer Space Telescope and coordinates educational campaigns.
