Ingredients

  • Four hot Italian sausage links cut up into one inch pieces
  • 1/2-1 full onion diced (depending on how much you like)
  • 6 small sweet peppers (2 yellow, 2 orange, 2 red) diced
  • 6 eggs beaten
  • 1 cup cheddar or italian cheese
  • 1 pie crust

Instructions

Preheat oven to 375○F.

Combine onion, peppers and sausage in skilet and cook until sausage browned and peppers and onions are softened. Meanwhile, either prepare pie crust from scratch or use pre-made crust from the store. I used pre-made crust to save time. Set uncooked crust in greased pie dish. Pour sausage , onion and pepper combination in the pie dish over the crust. Mix the 6 beaten eggs and cheese together thoroughly and pour evenly over the sausage and peppers. Bake in oven at 375○F for 30-45 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. ENJOY!

Notes

Quiche is a very versatile food that can have many different filling options. I have done sausage and onion quiche, salmon and broccoli quiche, as well as shrimp & crab w/ broccoli quiche. The possibilities are endless for flavors and your guests will think you went all out, but it's so easy!
