replacement battery

Issue, the recommended battery Xtreme High Performance 12A-A 12V 165CCA Flooded Powersport Battery CYL12AAXT has a side vent that protrudes and prevents the battery from resting properly in the battery cradle under the seat. Also, flooded cell batteries are nearly an obsolete type as AGM is preferred. Just because it is a vintage bike doesn't mean you should have to use a vintage designed battery. 12 volts is 12 volts. Other flooded cell batteries that match with the same vent issue are Duraboost DC12A-A, Yuasa YB12A-A Yumicron, Fire Power Conventional Battery CB12A-A.

  • battery compartment size: 5.28 x 3.25 x 6?
  • Positive post left, negative right
  • recommend at least 165 CCA 12 Ah

AGM batteries matching: UT12C AGM UT12C, Motobatt MB12U, Caltric BA130, Mighty Max YB12A-A

recommended: MB12U Motobatt 12V AGM Battery
