Trisquel Linux is a distribution that is lightweight and entirely free utilizing only software and components that the Free Software Foundation fully approves. The term libre free is used to express that it contains nothing that is not entirely free of any restrictive license such that The GNU Operating System and the Free Software Movement would not approve.
Trisquel Linux is lightweight, the installer fits on a 700MB CD. Trisquel is based on Ubuntu, which is based on Debian Linux.
