Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) wireless phone offering secure voice connectivity over a standards-based IEEE 802.11b/g wireless network.

The 3108 phone's keypad has four-way cursor control to originate and receive calls, invoke features and retrieve voice messages. A 1.8" (4.57 cm) color display for menu navigation in a flip-phone design.

The 3Com 3108 wireless phone (3C10408A) is not only SIP-compliant, but also utilizes a standards-based managed wireless network—including wireless switches and managed access points (MAPs). Wireless Protected Access 2 (WPA2) and advanced encryption standard (AES) that encodes conversations with 128-, 192- and 256-bit keys.
