Installation and Troubleshooting

Have to Unplug and Plug Mic Back in After Reboot

After reboot microphone is not detected unless I unplug it and plug it back in again.

resolved.

solution: Open the Realtek HD Audio Manager.

  1. Click on the "Audio I/O" tab.
  2. In the analog box (above the front panel box and digital box) click on the wrench icon (it is small) to open settings
  3. uncheck "disable front panel jack detection" and "mute rear panel output when front headphone plugged in"
