Installation and Troubleshooting
Have to Unplug and Plug Mic Back in After Reboot

After reboot microphone is not detected unless I unplug it and plug it back in again.
resolved.
solution: Open the Realtek HD Audio Manager.
- Click on the "Audio I/O" tab.
- In the analog box (above the front panel box and digital box) click on the wrench icon (it is small) to open settings
- uncheck "disable front panel jack detection" and "mute rear panel output when front headphone plugged in"
