Finder

Hold down the command key down while pressing tab multiple times until Finder is highlighted in the pop-up list.

Terminal

Open Terminal / Command Prompt

  1. Click the Finder icon on the bottom.
  2. Click Applications on the left pane.
  3. Click Utilities.
  4. Click Terminal.
Hard reset terminal emulator state	Control-Option-Command-R
