Mario Kart is a series of go-kart-style racing video games developed by Nintendo as a series of spin-offs from its trademark Mario series of adventure-style video games. The series debuted in 1992.  The [[Nintendo Wii]] version of Mario Kart was released in April 2008 and is the sixth installment in the Mario Kart series and the second Mario Kart title to use the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection.Mario Kart Wii was first announced at E3 2007 in Los Angeles. Each copy of the game is packaged with a Wii Wheel, designed to house the Wii Remote in a way that allows more intuitive and conventional steering. == How to Unlock Stuff Through Game Play ==== Glitches and Cheats ===== More than one person can be the same character ===First, make P1 choose the character you both want to be. Then unselect the character and move off of it. Move P2 over, and select the character. Go back one screen, then go into the character select again. You should both be on the same character. Both of you select the character. Do whatever you want from there on.Note: In the character select screen and options, whenever one of you does an animation, both of you will. Also, if P2 chooses a different kind of vehicle than P1, P1 will look strange. Don't worry, this won't actually happen in the game.I haven't tested this with P3 or P4 yet, but in theory, it should work.REF: [http://www.gamefaqs.com/features/recognition/77970.html?type=2 BTAxBTA]== Homebrew Cheats ==With the [[Homebrew Channel]] (also known as [[HomebreWare]]) installed on your [[Nintendo Wii]], cheats can be ran through Ocarina.
