The cache folder on my solid state drive would fill up causing ImageMagick to crash on really big files, so I set the cache path to another drive with more space. env MAGICK_TMPDIR=/home/nicolep/drive2 mogrify -debug cache -limit memory 8GB -limit map 8GB -resize 2455x7189 map2019110101.pngThe reference to drive2 is a symbolic link to a mounted drive under /media which had to have chmod to allow write permission.
