This product is plagued with a high failure rate. The programming process is very slow and will consume too much time. Altering a program is difficult, and the unit often fails to acknowledge changes in the daily program. It takes 18 total pushes of the touch non-responsive touch screen, with a delay between each push, to go from one day to the next in the 7 day program. You cannot go directly to a given day. You will end up pushing the screen over 224 times just to set up a heating and cooling program schedule. This product is a huge time killer. AVOID PRODUCT.

RIP OFF PRODUCT AVOID AT ALL COST
Dear Manufacturer,
I have had to exchange this twice now from the store I purchased it. The last replacement has been in service for about 10 months. Today I tried to enter a new summer air conditioning program. It is a slow painful process, 16 pushes on the screen per day, and a pause between each push as the device is lethargic. I get to FRIDAY and it will not accept the time I enter, resulting in my having to start from the beginning again. Your thermostat products are low quality pieces of junk. I wasted my money and my time. I am so disappointed and frustrated in this product. You should be ashamed for the consumer rip-off electronic thermostats you produce. I haven't the time nor desire to exchange this again for another piece of crap of the same model, which will likely fail in the near future. JUNK! TOTAL JUNK!

Things to look for in purchase consideration of a digital thermostat
- Program retention on dead battery

- adjustable number of temp changes per day (with the LUX you have 4 whether you need 4 or not)
- response time to button push or touch screen action (the LUX is very sluggish)
