== Review ==[[Image:20star.png]] Very dynamic and useful in a portable application.  Not recommended as a full time wireless AP or full time router.  In 24/7 operation this unit gets very hot and will eventually fail.  This unit is useful for temporary or portable use such as using as a wireless client on a laptop or as an adhoc AP or router when on the go.Pros: Small, functional, many modes of operation.Cons: Cooks itself to death in 24/7 operation after about 2 yrs of service.=== Steps to Reset, Connect, and Program Access Point ===1. D-Link DAP-1350 requires a crossover cable to be connected to switch, or use of an uplink port.  2. To reset the access point, locate the reset button (hole) on the rear panel of the unit. With the access point powered on, use a paperclip to hold the button down for 5 seconds. Release the button and the access point will go through its reboot process. Wait about 30 seconds to access the access point.  It does not reboot right away.  When it starts the reboot, the front light will turn red.3. The default IP address is 192.168.0.50.  If the selector switch is in AP mode it can be accessed via cabled LAN with web browser on that IP address. The username is admin and leave the password box empty.  Web access is on the standard web port, port 80.[[Category:Hardware]][[Category:Tangible Product]]
