If a clean Windows install is not practical, it is recommended that you uninstall all previous capture card drivers. * One method of cleaning out capture card drivers is to use btinstaller.exe available from [http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/btwincap/btwdmdrvinstaller5.3.8.zip?download http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/btwincap/btwdmdrvinstaller5.3.8.zip?download]. * It is recommended to run btinstaller.exe in Safe Mode, then select the Uninstall option and reboot the pc when the Un-installer completes. Upon reboot you can proceed to install the Dico 800 software. It should be noted that some owners of the Devil's version have reported '''success using Dico 800 software''' (specifically version 4.073003) '''with virtual IRQ''' (those above 16). Dico 800 can be made to function quite well with up to 4 cameras, although the lack of documentation does leave some questions as to the exact functionality of a few features.
