Warning: installing vlc snap (The latest vlc from within the snapcraft will not yield satisfactory results if you have any expectation of vlc behaving normally like any other software on your system. Snapcraft is a special jailed development environment. The snap vlc will be limited in how it can access your file system, and many features will not function correctly or at all.
