Split System
With a split system (what homeowners refer to as "central air" the condenser is located outside and the evaporator (A-coil) is located in the furnace. The condenser deals with dispensing with the heat, while the A-coil and indoor part deals with the cold side. The outdoor unit consists of a condenser and evaporator coils.
Service
