Use the LG Flash Tool to install the VS98510B software revision, rolling it back, then run Stumproot.

The VS98511C Verizon update implements an "anti-rollback" feature which prevents you from using any stock restore method to go back to a version older than whatever you're on.  There is no root method for the VS98511C software if you are unrooted, only the stock VS98510B software.
