You do not need the CD or internet access to configure your router. It has a web interface which you access directly with the Firefox web browser by typing the following IP address in the URL bar: http://192.168.1.1
Default IP Address: 192.168.1.1 Default Username: admin Default Password: password
Please note the idiot forum moderator GuyAdams posted an erroneous IP address on the Netgear forum. The correct IP address is 192.168.1.1
The product manual is also problematic. It makes no mention of directly accessing the factory reset router via the default IP address. It proxies through a URL and text address because the designers thing it makes things easier. They are also idiots.
