Poker night

  • Create membership for set fee for given time period
  • Bar owner is dealer for the game while waitress cares for customers
  • One night per week
  • Can create a tournament for prizes
  1. will need a card table
  2. section off part of bar to continue serving guests who do not want to participate
  3. prizes could be:
  • free beer, free food, gift certificate, etc.

Football Season

  • Host husker games on big screen tv
  • Host online husker games (webcast)
  • Offer party buckets of beer for discounted rate to boost alcohol sales
  1. will need to probably buy buckets (I can find online sources)

Game area

  • Use big screen tv in corner of bar with some game chairs in front of it
  • If customer 21 years or older gets to play free with purchase of alcohol
  • If customer less than 21 years of age, a fee will be charged for use of games per hour
  1. Will probably need to buy or find used game chairs, game console, and buy extended warranty on game console

Karaoke

  • One night per week (Friday or Saturday)
  • Offer beer (either bottles or draft at discounted fee during karaoke hours)

Pool table (ours...not leased)

  1. 6.5ft pool table with adjustable coin operation to charge up to $1.25 per game
  2. Can have pool tournaments and have prizes for winners (prizes can be the same as for poker)
