Our FM100B is the updated version of a truly professional frequency synthesized radio transmitter station in one durable, handsome cabinet. It is used all over the world by serious hobbyists as well as churches, drive-in theaters, and schools. No one else offers all of these features at this price! The included frequency display and audio level meters assist in easy operation. The “B” version now includes some additional functionality including a line level monitor output, improved stereo separation, spectral purity, audio clarity, and adjustable RF Output.

Sound quality is impressive, and equal to or better than most commercial stations. Low pass input filtering plus peak limiters put maximum “punch” in your audio, and prevent over-modulation distortion. Churches, drive-ins, schools and colleges find the FM100B to be the answer to their transmitting needs… you will too. The kit includes a sharp looking metal cabinet, whip antenna, and built-in 110/220 volt AC power supply. An external antenna connection allows hook-up to high performance antennas like our vertical and co-linear models. We also offer a high power export version of the FM100B that’s fully assembled with one watt of RF power, for miles of program coverage. Many islands and villages use it as their local radio station! One watt units at full power cannot be used with the telescoping whip antenna and MUST be utilized with an external antenna to maintain proper VSWR.

radio FM broadcasting equipment

These are some of my favorite internet sources for radio FM broadcasting equipment which I put together for reference in my own radio forums. Thought I'd pass it along here:

Sources for FM transmitters, amplifiers, antennas, equipment

One should bear in mind that if you live in the United States, most US-based companies may refuse to sell you an assembled FM transmitter, as that violates FCC regulations. However, they may sell it in kit form. Other countries may have the same restrictions. Luckily, with today's global internet market, it should be quite easy to find a source in a different country who will be only too happy to sell you what you need in assembled form.

VERONICA FM STEREO 20 WATT BROADCAST TRANSMITTER.

This is true. Their 25 watt amplifier actually produces 18 watts with a full 1.2 watt drive. The 30 watt transmitter has a 1 watt coming off the main board, a 5 watt amp which goes into a 30 watt amp. What a mess. Motorola C-QUAM

single Motorola chip

The Ramsey kits and many of the cheap FM transmitters used a single Motorola chip that was basically a transmitter in a tight package. You provided a 38mhz crystal and input/output stages. It wasn’t bad and if you built a decent pll section to lock the frequency, it’d do a decent job. But the stereo separation and cross talk was garbage..
