Stations, this is [callsign], net control for the 220 Promote the Band Net.  My name is [first name] and I will be 
your net control operator this evening.

This net accepts all checkins. Anyone within range of this repeater that wishes to checkin may do so. This is a 
directed net, meaning all transmissions will be directed by this net control station.

When checking in this evening, I would ask that you call "net control," and let the repeater drop like this... 
[kerchunk] and then continue with your callsign, name, and location.  Please say the three, callsign, name, and 
location if you wish to opine.

This evening's topic is [topic], as well as anything relating to promotion or activity of the 1.25 meter ham radio 
band.  Announcements are also welcome.
